3D PRINTING – FDM

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing process. In FDM, an object is built by selectively depositing melted material in a per-determined path layer-by-layer. The materials used are thermoplastic polymers and come in a filament form. For more information on this process or for a quote, please contact me! Layer Resolution from 0.16mm.

3D PRINTING – MSLA

Masked Stereolithography (MSLA) is an additive manufacturing process. In MSLA production, an object is created by selectively curing a UV sensitive polymer resin layer-by-layer using an ultraviolet (UV) light. The materials used in MSLA are photosensitive thermoset polymers that come in a liquid form. For more information on this process or for a quote, please contact me! Layer Resolution from 0.03mm.

LASER CUTTING

Laser cutting is a process in which we use a concentrated CO2 laser to cut through a number of organic materials either by burning, melting or vaporizing. At Damocles Media, we have industry leading machines with unmatched precision. When it comes to realizing your designs, this makes all the difference.

LASER ENGRAVING

Raster engraving is a process in which the laser head moves from left to right down the material, slowly removing part of the material away. It is similar to inkjet printing, except material is being uniformly burned away or marked. Here at Damocles Media, we see raster engraving used for signage, jewellery, customized gifts, labelling components, and engraving logos.

ROTARY ENGRAVING

Personalized bottles and glassware are great gift ideas for Birthdays, Family Events, Graduations, Anniversaries, and much more. Bottles can easily be engraved with any special dates, names, or quotes that work for you. Etched bar ware is also a great way to advertise. Many businesses use personalised glasses and distribute custom bottles with their business name and logo etched on the front.

CNC ENGRAVING

CNC Engraving takes a computer controlled drill bit and converts the digital information to engraving motions or 'tool paths'. This information is engraved into the material in the required depth. This process can be applied to different materials and used for many different applications and at depths not possible with a laser.
